Kartik Fine Arts',  51st Year Art Festival inaugural ceremony was held in Narada Gana Sabha, Chennai. This year, the prestigious Isai Peroli title, instituted by the Gomathi Visweswaran Trust, has been conferred on noted flautist J.A. Jayant. The Nadanamamani title (Shriram Award of Excellence), instituted by the Shriram Group, has been awarded to Bharatanatyam dancer Deepthi Ravichandran. Nadaswaroopam Award—instituted by P. Seshadri, Managing Trustee of the Thyagaraja Music Festival Trust has been presented to vocalist R. Suryaprakash.

The Kartik Rajagopal Endowment Award for Best Cultural Organiser, instituted by Kartik Rajagopal to commemorate his Golden Jubilee, has been bestowed upon G. Nagarajan, Secretary of the Chrompet Cultural Academy.

Additionally, the K.M. Narasimhan Award, instituted in memory of the former president of Kartik Fine Arts, has been awarded to violinist Parur M.K. Ananthalakshmi for her contribution as a distinguished dance accompanist.
