The medium is the message

Krishna says in the
Bhagavad Gita that all the zillion species on earth are interconnected. They
all exist in relation to one another and nothing can be in isolation. This is
in line with the theories of modern science.
Our art forms – music,
theatre, painting, sculpture and poetry – are all fundamentally interrelated
and thanks to the advancement of modern technology, can be communicated through
an interactive medium.
I read Subramania Bharati’s Agni-k-kunju for the first time when I was in college. Many Bharati scholars interpret it as a mystical poem, but to me it appeared to be just a theatrical happening in the verbal medium.
