Sruti is India's leading magazine devoted to Indian Classical Music, Dance and Theatre. Sruti is published every quarter - March, June, September & December - both in print and as an online version. 

Founded in 1983 by N. Pattabhiraman, Sruti is a leading monthly magazine dedicated to Indian classical music, dance, and theatre. Based in Chennai, it has earned a reputation for authentic, research-based coverage of the performing arts, featuring in-depth artist profiles, interviews, reviews, historical insights, and discussions on contemporary issues in the arts.

Over the past four decades, Sruti has chronicled the work of over 400 artists and documented a wide range of traditions, styles, and institutions. It continues to serve as a trusted archive and platform for both established and emerging voices in the classical arts ecosystem.
