Veda-The fourth chakra

This month, in July, we present the fourth chakra with the mela raga-s 19 to 24. In the melakarta scheme,
both the shadja (Sa) and the panchama (Pa) are common to all the raga-s. The rishabha, gandhara and
madhyama swara-s remain the same for the six raga-s of one chakra. Either the dhaivata or the nishada, or both,
vary for every raga. A look at the chakra calendar below clarifies this point.
