Last year, our Roving Editor, MANNA SRINIVASAN offered readers the piece A Day at Sri Krishna Gana Sabha. This time, he presents us with a piece in the “stream of consciousness” mode on the Season.

Yet another Season; A lot more plentiful and varied. So is the scope for stray thoughts!

The mosaic is multifaceted. Its composition may not be in the `kriti kramam’ nor strictly grammatical. The opera provides opportunities to all— from stentors to sopranos. The symphony has several segments, shades, instrument types and conductors. The regular and the `other’, the revivalist and the refreshing, the serene and the sober, the daring and the dazzling are all part of the show.
